Customs Brokers Licensing Examination 2023: Computer-Based Test Scheduled for March 18th, Pattern and Qualifying Criteria Announced
The Indian government has announced the schedule and pattern for the Customs Brokers Licensing Examination 2023. The examination, which is a requirement for obtaining a license to practice as a customs broker, is set to be held on March 18th, 2023. The examination will be a computer-based test comprising of multiple choice questions in both English and Hindi. Candidates have the option to answer in either language.
The written examination will consist of 150 questions to be completed within a two and a half hour time frame. The marking scheme awards 3 marks for each correct answer and deducts 1 mark for each incorrect answer. The maximum marks for the examination are 450, and the qualifying marks are 270 (60%). Candidates who qualify in the written examination will have to appear for the oral examination, which also has a pass percentage of 60%.
