CBIC Announces Amendment to Allow Transhipment of Bangladesh Export Cargo Through Delhi Air Cargo
The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has announced an amendment to Circular No. 29/2020-Customs dated 22.06.2020, allowing for the transhipment of Bangladesh export cargo to third countries through Delhi Air Cargo. The previous circular only allowed for transhipment through Kolkata Air Cargo. The change is aimed at improving cargo evacuation and logistics efficiency. The new amendment, which allows for transhipment by road from LCS Petrapole to Delhi Air Cargo Complex, will take effect from February 15, 2023.
