CBIC Imposes Definitive Anti-Dumping Duties on UDCA Imports from China and Korea for Five Years

The Government of India has imposed definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of Ursodeoxycholic Acid (UDCA) from China and Korea for a period of five years, starting from 18th August 2022. The move comes after the designated authority found a substantial increase in the volume of dumped imports of UDCA from these countries, causing material injury to the domestic industry. The anti-dumping duty rates will differ based on the producer and country of origin, with the duty payable in Indian currency.
