New Video Conference Platform Launched for Assistance in SION Fixation Applications by DGFT in India
The Government of India, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Department of Commerce, and the Directorate General of Foreign Trade have announced the availability of a permanent video conference platform for interaction between trade and industry members and DGFT Regional Authorities officials. The video conference facility is operational every working day between 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM and is accessible on the DGFT website. The facility will provide assistance and guidance to members of trade in filing applications for fixation of Standard Inputs Output Norms (SION) and help ensure the completeness of the application for faster fixation of SION. This trade notice is issued with the approval of the Competent Authority.
