Excise Exemption for Blended Diesel Extended Until 2024
The Ministry of Finance has issued Notification No. 15/2023-Central Excise, extending the excise exemption for high-speed diesel (HSD) blended with bio-diesel. This amendment affects the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 11/2017-Central Excise, dated June 30, 2017. The exemption period has been extended by one year, with the figures “2023” replaced by “2024”.
