DGFT adds 18 HS Codes under RoDTEP Scheme for Textile Exports

India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry has included 18 Harmonized System (HS) codes under Heading 5208 in Appendix 4R for the RoDTEP scheme. The RoDTEP Committee recommended the additions, which will have a 4.3% rate for exports made from March 28, 2023. The tariff lines will benefit exports of handloom and other fabrics, including lungis, saris, and shirting fabrics.
