DGFT extends Deadline for Mandatory Electronic Filing of Non-Preferential Certificate of Origin to December 2023

The Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry has extended the deadline for mandatory electronic filing of Non-Preferential Certificate of Origin (CoO) through the Common Digital Platform to December 31, 2023. The transition period for filing applications for Non-Preferential CoO has been extended, and exporters and Non-Preferential CoO Issuing Agencies can use the online system as an option. However, the online application process is not mandatory until December 31, 2023.
