Central Government amends Customs notification to exempt health cess on goods imported for X-ray machine manufacturing
The Central Government has issued Notification No. 18/2023-Customs on March 29, 2023, amending the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), 8/2020-Customs, dated February 2, 2020.
The changes made in the notification pertain to the health cess exemption on the import of goods used in the manufacture of X-ray machines.
This notification will be effective from April 1, 2023.
